Re:Play - Final Fantasy VII Intermission puts ninja Yuffie front and center
A short DLC that offers little reason for existing, Final Fantasy VII: Intermission showcases Yuffie's fun combat but little of her endearing character Final Fantasy VII Intermission, a short DLC for the game, was released over a year after the release of Final Fantasy Remake. The game follows the character Yuffie, a teenage ninja from the Wutai nation, infiltrating Midgar to steal materia from Shinra. The first part of Intermission is devoted to side content, which includes a strategy mini-game called Fort Condor. The second part is heavily combat-focused, but the lack of meat between them is only a minor drawback. Despite these efforts, the game's story is thin and its ending lacks much reason.
