Audiences in the Tucson, Ariz., DMA can now experience the future of broadcast television as six stations launch NextGen TV technology, also known as ATSC 3.0. Switching on the new transmission standard are NBCUniversal Local’s KHRR (Telemundo) and KVOA (NBC); Gray Television’s KOLD (CBS); Arizona Public Media’s KUAT (PBS); E.W. Switching on the new transmission standard are NBCUniversal Local’s KHRR (Telemundo) and KVOA (NBC); Gray Television’s KOLD (CBS); Arizona Public Media’s KUAT (PBS); E.W. Scripps’ KGUN (ABC); and Tegna’s KMSB (Fox).
