Why Savannah Guthrie's 'Today' Show Hometown Visit Remains Significant to Mom Nancy's Disappearance
Nancy Guthrie's disappearance weighs heavily on one reporter. Phoenix news reporter Andrew Christiansen believes that Savannah Guthrie's November 2025 Today show segment, which provided a glimpse into her family life in Tucson, Arizona, remains significant to her mom Nancy's disappearance. Christiansen was present at El Charro restaurant when the mother-daughter duo filmed there with Savannah's older sister, Annie, and was impressed with the closeness of the trio. Former FBI special agent Steve Moore speculated that the segment could be a "piece of this puzzle" to help solve Nancy's missing case. Moore also suggested that the visit may have provided a blueprint for the places Nancy enjoyed in Tucson.
