Surviving dogs in need of loving homes after being rescued in McNeal
MCNEAL, Ariz. (KVOA) - Nearly a dozen dogs need new homes after being rescued from what authorities described as unbearable living conditions in McNeal, Arizona. Nearly a dozen dogs have been rescued from living conditions in McNeal, Arizona, where they were living in unbearable conditions. The rescue took place at a property owned by 79-year-old Eileen Smith, who was convicted earlier this year of fraud involving a vulnerable adult. Over 40 dogs were living on Smith's property at one point, many in poor conditions. Some were living outside for years without adequate shade or access to food or water. Over a dozen of the dogs were found in such poor condition they had to be put down. The surviving dogs are now looking for new homes and are located at various adoption centers.
