Born in 1945 in Lorain, Ohio, he was the youngest of three boys and served as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He was a B-52 navigator with over 100 combat missions and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. In 1966, he married his high-school sweetheart, Nancy, and they had a 60-year marriage. He is survived by his brother, Frank, Nancy; their three children, BJ, Barb, Chris; and their families.
