Human Friendly Robotics Signs $3.55 Million Tiling Contract with Foley Tile of Tucson
Three-year agreement brings Tyler robots to the Southwest and gives a regional tile contractor national reach Human Friendly Robotics (HFR) has signed a three-year contract with Foley Tile, a Tucson, Arizona tile contractor led by Jerry Foley and Brent Foley, for $3.55 million. The agreement brings Tyler robots to the Southwest and gives Foley Tile a national reach. HFR will deploy Tyler robots alongside Foley Tile's installers in Arizona and beyond. With Tyler handling repetitive tile placement, a single crew can commit to larger projects at home and far from Tucson, on a schedule the company can guarantee. The robot's pilot work at Plaza Las Américas in Puerto Rico was previewed by Foley Tile. HFO CEO Shamoon Siddiqui sees this as a "small step towards a Built World of the future," envisioning contractors scaling physical labor on demand, finishing on time and on budget.
