(KVOA) — The City of Tucson is inviting residents from all over the city to attend a town hall meeting where "Hard to Recycle" program will be introduced The City of Tucson is introducing the "Hard to Recycle" program to offer residents a convenient way to divert waste from landfills. The town hall meeting will provide valuable information on the City's current and new recycling programs. The expansion of the Hefty ReNew program is intended to complement, not replace, current recycling efforts. The event will be held on June 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ward 6 Council Office.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — The City of Tucson is inviting residents from all over the city to attend a town hall meeting where "Hard to Recycle" program will be introduced to offer residents a convenient way to divert more waste from landfills.

This town hall meeting will provide Tucson residents with valuable information on the City of Tucson's current and new recycling programs. Attendees can ask questions and learn how to better manage hard to recycle plastics in their community.

The Hard to Recycle Plastics Town Hall will be on Tuesday, June 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ward 6 Council Office, 3202 E 1st St. Hefty brand has announced the expansion of the Hefty ReNew program to Tucson. Hefty ReNew is a hard to recycle plastics recycling program that specializes in hard to recycle material.

"The expansion of the City of Tucson's hard to recycle plastics program with Hefty ReNew is intended to complement, not replace, current recycling efforts," said Carlos De La Torre, Director of Environmental and General Services.
