The 2024 edition of ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT features the "All In for Autism Day", a fundraising and community building event hosted by the Autism Society of Southern Arizona. The event will take place on Saturday, April 13th at The Tucson Convention Center's grand ballroom. The Marroney Theatre's lobby features a digital poster screen that can change images instantly. The Tucson non-profit Literacy Connects sponsors a group of performers and musicians called “Stories That Soar!” to help young writers realize their potential for bringing their stories to life across all mediums. The documentary "Body Parts" explores the exploitation of women in motion pictures.

• The Tucson non-profit Literacy Connects sponsors a group of performers and musicians called “Stories That Soar!”. They help young writers realize the power and potential of bringing their stories to life across all mediums. "Arizona Spotlight" presents these stories on the first Thursday of every month. This month's “Stories That Soar!” features “Can you Hear Me?”, a touching song written by Daisy, a 5th grade student at Haloway Elementary for her late mother, to share what her life has been like as she grows up. Literacy Connects presents “Stories That Soar!”, a program where the Tucson non-profit empowers students of all ages by bringing their stories to life with professional actors and musicians.
