The heat is here to stay for all of southern Arizona
STORMTRACKER 4 ALERT DAY — The excessive heat is here and will be in place through next week. The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for most of southern Arizona, lasting until 8 p.m. on Thursday. The hottest temperatures will be felt in western and central Pima county as well as Safford in Graham county. Despite clouds not expected to move in to aid with the heat, this means isolated thunderstorms are not expected. Despite the warning, temperatures will remain around 105 through early next week. Monsoon officially begins on Saturday, but no rain is expected for at least 10 days.

STORMTRACKER 4 ALERT DAY — The excessive heat is here and will be in place through next week.
The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for most of southern Arizona between now and lasting until 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The hottest temperatures will be felt in western and central Pima county as well as Safford in Graham county.
Unlikely the last heat event from last week, clouds are not expected to move in to aid with the scorching temperatures.
This also means those isolated thunderstorms we saw in Cochise and Graham county are not expected.
After the excessive heat warning we will still see highs around 105 through early next week.
We may also see some breezy conditions and some dust on Friday and Monday.
Monsoon officially starts on Saturday, but no rain is expected for at least 10 days.
