In Arizona, meows from an auto shop wall led firefighters to a kitten that owners ending up keeping
"Looks like this kitten used one of her nine lives today." A sound from a Tucson auto shop wall led firefighters to a kitten trapped behind a brick, which they found trapped in the building. The Tucson Fire Department responded to the scene on Oct. 12 after people inside the business reported hearing a kitten crying inside. Following the meows, firefighters traced the sound to a hollow space behind the structure's exterior brick. They removed the kitten from the wall using irons to remove grout around a single brick and free her. The shop owners decided to keep the kitten, which was adopted by the auto shop owners. The rescue was described as "a purr-fect happy ending" by the Tucson Fire department on Facebook.
