The New Hyundai Tucson Could Be Its Most Popular Yet
The fifth-gen Hyundai Tucson is larger, radically redesigned, and already proving popular with buyers in its home market, setting a new pre-order sales record. Hyundai's new, fifth-generation Tucson SUV is set to be even more popular than its predecessor, the current model, due to a radical exterior redesign and a button-filled cabin. The car has broken its previous one-day pre-order record, with 15,045 pre-orders on the first day it opened. The flagship trim received 44 percent of pre-ordered, while cost-conscious consumers made up the next-largest share. The new Tucson is 2.3 inches longer overall, 1.57 inches wider, and 0.8 inches taller, giving it more passenger space. The cabin features Hyundai's new Pleos infotainment system and a 17.0-inch infotelligent screen on the dashboard. The vehicle will go on sale in late 2026 or early 2027.
