Man accused of attacking Scottsdale apartment residents for declining his cocaine
Police say a Scottsdale man fired into an apartment building after victims refused to do cocaine with him. Samuel Sedgwick, a convicted felon, is accused of attacking residents of an apartment complex in Scottsdale for refusing to do cocaine with him. The victims claim that Sedgwatt, who they knew, showed up at their apartment while intoxicated and asked them to do it. He allegedly attacked them with a hammer and threatened to kill them with it. After leaving, he allegedly returned to the scene and fired about 10 shots into the building, which was not home at the time. Police found a loaded handgun near a dumpster and found evidence of assault and firearm possession in Sedgiw's home. He was booked on several assault and firearms charges and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
