Procession for Tucson police officer killed in crash on Sunday
The officer was reportedly responding to a call for service before 10 p.m. Sunday when the collision occurred near North Campbell Avenue and East 6th Street, in the area of the University of Arizona campus. Police say another driver who was turning, failed to yield and hit 31-year-old Officer Adam Buckner, who was driving through a green light with emergency lights and sirens activated on his patrol car.
